Unscreened AI Privacy Policy
Unscreened AI is a teacher-facing education tool for scanning student work, helping teachers review what happened, and supporting personalized follow-up without requiring students to use classroom software.
What Unscreened AI Does
Unscreened AI helps teachers scan student work, review learning evidence, and generate targeted follow-up materials. The service is designed for authorized school users and a teacher-first student experience.
Information We Collect
We collect teacher account information such as name, email address, login credentials, school access information, and account identifiers. Teachers may upload worksheet scans, roster records, student names, student work, and related classroom records needed to provide the service.
How We Use Information
We use this information to authenticate users, provide scanning and review workflows, maintain classroom rosters, process worksheet submissions, protect student identity data, operate the service, troubleshoot issues, and support school customers.
Student Data
Student data is used only to provide Unscreened AI to schools, teachers, and authorized school users. Student data is not sold, used for advertising, or used for model training. Schools stay in control, and Unscreened is built for FERPA and COPPA compliance.
Our intended privacy model is built around a simple standard: student names are resolved locally, while servers and AI models work from anonymized learning evidence.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate Unscreened AI, with authorized school users, or when required by law. Service providers must protect information consistently with this policy and use information only to provide services to Unscreened AI.
Retention, Deletion, and Requests
We retain account, school, class, roster, worksheet scan, submission, support, and security records for as long as needed to provide Unscreened AI, support authorized school users, maintain service security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Teachers, school administrators, and authorized users may request access, correction, deletion, or consent revocation by contacting hello@unscreened.ai. Requests involving student or classroom records may need to be made or approved by the applicable school or authorized school administrator. We delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer needed or after a verified deletion request, unless retention is required for legal, security, backup, or legitimate operational reasons.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account, classroom, and student information. The service uses standard encryption for data in transit and additional protections for sensitive classroom identity data.
